Baby Girl’s second acupuncture session

We went today for our second acupuncture session for Baby Girl. Dr. B even noticed that BG was doing better. I told her that she is walking better, but we are having a real problem with bowel movement incontinence-this is worthy of its own blog post! Dr. B got her all set up with needles and then she puts these hooks on the needles and connects it to a battery. It is like they are doing electro-shock therepy to her!! LOL! For the most part she tolerates it very well, but she will act a little dramatic to get some sympathy. Afterwards, she ran around the room like a maniac!! It was hysterical. Then as soon as we got in the car she was zonked out. We go again in 4 weeks. I am to continue to massage her, let her walk at about 5-10 minute intervals, and just keep doing what we are doing.

He doesn’t eat very much, is house trained, and just wants to be cuddled! Lola is not very sure about this new addition to the family. Baby Girl is not amused. She doesn’t like him at all and has not stopped barking at him!

Just click on the photo and it will take you to my flickr page where I have some videos of all there pugs!

Black is beautiful Adopt-A-Thon

Monday, November 9th, 2009

Big, black dogs are often the last to be adopted from animal shelters – a phenomenon known as “black dog syndrome.” Black dogs often stay at shelters longer than lighter colored dogs. People may consider them too “plain”, think they are menacing, or simply don’t notice them because their dark color makes them disappear in their kennels.

Help us change all that!!
